| This is one of the few movies I have rented that I actually had to stop and return without finishing. It was just that sick and disgusting with no redeeming value. I have thought about why it was so horrifying to me. I think the reason was that the hot chick was just too disgusting. Somehow it would have been different if the evil woman had not been so physically attractive. I am sure that is part of why they did the casting that way though. Just not for me. (And I have seen the worst Asian horrors out there. Just couldn't stomach this one.) |

I don't know what I was thinking.  The bathtub scene scarred me for life. I turned it off right there, and took it right back. I know some here will know what scene I'm referring to.  Never went back to that shop after that.  Makes Devil's rejects look like kid programming.  Also, Sheri Moon is just cast in all of Rob's shit. She's his hot wife, in every video and everything else. I'd get tired of her extremely fast if she wasn't so nice to look at.  |

Don't we make you laugh? Aren't we fuckin funny? And yes, good series. Really screwed up how after the first one and then 2/3 of the second one you get to the end of Devils Rejects and actually feel sorry for them at the hands of the lawman. Well, I think that is the intent. I still would have killed them. |

The scene with the baby and the pistol was just fucked up. |

August Underground Mordum? Regorgitated sacrifice? Indeed, that shit makes the Zombie horror flicks look pale in comparison. BUT... Rob Zombie created Devils Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses in the same style of the classic "B" 70's horror flicks, combined with modern "gore", and I think he did an absolutely stellar job. They both are great for classic horror fans and the campiness in them is fully intentional. Not for everyone, but for those of us who sort of "got it", they are instant horror classics. |

My wife and I love that movie. We went and saw it at the theater, there was 2 groups of
older people that got up and left within the first 10 minutes. Then you have the other groups that bring their 2 and 3 yr old kids to it. I think they were drinking mouthwash |

What I loved about these movies was they were basically comedies with a sick sense of humor.

House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects, 2 movies with the same characters but made in completely different styles (kinda like Kill Bill 1 & 2). Rejects was more disturbing because of the realistic style, while House was more over-the-top funny.
Even Bill Moseley (Otis) said the motel room scene creeped him out. |
| How in the hell does anyone enjoy House of 1000 Corpses? Its doesn't gross me out and any of that...it was just a crappy movie. The Devil's Rejects was ok. Worth one watch. Zombie is hit or miss with his movies. His remake of Halloween was awesome...the sequel kinda sucked. Can't ever tell with that guy. |
