Ed Schultz, host of "The Ed Show," revealed this morning on MSNBC that he he had been contacted by North Dakota democratic leadership to consider running for Senator Byron Dorgan's (D-ND) U.S. Senate seat: I did get a phone call this morning from the house democratic leader, Merle Boucher, and he asked me to consider a run for the senate seat in the state of North Dakota. I asked him very point blank, 'Is this an official ask.' He said, 'Yes, it is.' I'm flattered. I'm honored. I can't say that I'm even considering it right now. I've worked awful hard in my career to get to where I am right now. I've invested a lot of years to get the microphone, to have an opportunity to advocate for the middle class in this country. I'm in a different place right now. So we're a long way from any consideration. We're a long way from any kind of decision. I'm definitely flattered and honored by the phone call to be considered by someone of his stature. Schultz has an exclusive interview this evening with Dorgan at 6pmET. Dorgan announced yesterday that he is retiring and would not seek another term. Read more: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/msnbc/ed_schultz_as... |

We seriously need a constitutional amendment making it a requirement that you actually live in a fucking state for a few years before you can run for carpetbag senate seats.
I've love to see hitlery, frankenfag, jay rockfeller, et al thrown out of office on their heads. Oh wait, zero already got hitlery out of office |

I am extremely tired of elitist folks cherry picking the office they want often in a state where they never had the slightest bit of interest in before they saw an open seat. |

He has an audiance of what....a few thousand on the radio and maybe a few more on television. Get real, this guy is an idiot. Being an idiot with a small audience worked for Al Franken!
And for carpetbaggers, it is usually state rules that dictate how long you have to live their. New York state is only one month residence IIRC |

I'm glad they actually think it's a good idea to run "true believers." It's a refreshing change from the "oh I'm actually a 'moderate'" candidate that they usually run. The more overt commies that they run the better. It will expose the true thinking of the left. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
