My mom just gave me some railroad lanterns that were my grandfathers. He passed before I was born. I want to find out what I can about them. He worked for the L&N RR. They are marked "Dressel Arlington N.J. U.S.A"

Anybody know where I can find info on them?

You can try asking here.

FYI, L&N (Louisville/Nashville) RR no longer exists. It was bought out by CSX. My mom and dad were transferred out to Louisville when they took over. I'm sure the old office building is still there.

Search and then save them.  If they have the red glass they can be worth quite a good amount.  Don't try to restore them until you find out which way is worth more.

I won't be restoring them. They are going on the wall next to my other grandfather's powderhorn
