Whoever buys one is a communist and owes me my bailout money back. I cannot believe anyone here would even contemplate it for more than one second. It's gonna be just like 9/11. Everyone was all pissed at first, now no one gives a shit. Fucking pathetic. EDIT: Reading the Dale Earnhardt Left Turn Fan Club Members here, it's no wonder: A) obama got elected (he's a rockstar, and his wife is sooooo glamorous!) B) he has no trouble nationalizing private (failing) companies, and healthcare. We are doomed. |
| I agree with OP. I wrote them a response when they sent me a letter about being "Americas Car Company". I explained everything that was wrong about the statement. Actually got a response back.... very generic "sorry to hear this" "we will prove ourselves" shit. I have a Chevy Truck. I will NEVER own another. Or a Dodge. FORD only for this guy. |

Quoted: Quoted: For fuck's sake. ![]() Funny given the thread about your dad's new truck. The man hates Obama as much as myself and the rest here do, often using words to describe him I can't use here. However, he will buy what he likes, and it doesn't matter to me what he does. ![]() |

Quoted:
So then you are a hypocrite too, as I spelled out above.

That isn't something to praise. That's called hypocrisy. |

Did you quit banking too? They took money from the .gov, and GM is going to repay their loans this year, or so I heard. |
|
The only way you'll ever get your "money" back is if a lot more people buy GM.
We're invested in GM whether we like it or not. That ship has sailed. Now if you want GM to fail just because you hate the Chosen one then you are letting your emotions interfere with business. |

Or maybe I don't want any form of socialism here to be bolstered by Dale Earnhardt fans buying good old Chevy. If this succeeds, we all fail. |

I was bringing that up before, but he ignored it because he knows he is dead wrong. I am self sufficient. I farm carbon credits and sell them to al gore. Fuck GM. The GOVERNMENT OWNS THEM NOW. NOT SO WITH MY BANK. Well, you are wrong. You make no sense either. |
|
Quoted: Well, you are wrong. You make no sense either. I bet you just loved the tingle when you pulled the lever for Obama didn't you? ![]() "President Obama defended his decision to take a majority stake in GM, saying it was unavoidable and temporary. "We are acting as reluctant shareholders," he said in a televised address." Sounds a lot like Hugo "deej's dad" Chavez there. |
|
Quoted: Ironically, that's the reason (along with selfish union hogs) that GM was set to fail. Then in comes Obama to nationalize it with your money. If he was able to get "freedom loving" arfcommers used to this, and they accepted it, we are screwed. It ain't gonna end with gm or healthcare. I don't really give a shit what people buy, I just think that GM makes inferior products. That's my main motivation for never buying one of their vehicles again. |
|
Quoted: Quoted: ![]() Just like I said. Just like 9/11, you probably forgot about that by the time the world series started. ![]() How fucking dare you. I know one member personally on this forum that is over in IRQ right now fighting for our freedom, and another one that is working for a contractor. Lots of people I know have had their friends over there, their cousins, their husbands. Save that statement for the so called DU'ers who bash our troops, bash Bush and bash the war. |

WEEEEEEEEE!!! |

As a member of a free market economy, you have that right TO BUY WHAT YOU WANT. Same with the people that CHOOSE, bailout or no bailout, to buy GM. |

Comparing my father, who has spent 30+ years as a hard working mechanic, to a socialist nutjob. |

Quoted: All I can do, is not buy their shitty vehicles. I'm one man. I can't single-handedly stop auto bailouts. They used my money, your money, and everyione else's money. I called my reps, it didn't make a difference.Quoted: Ironically, that's the reason (along with selfish union hogs) that GM was set to fail. Then in comes Obama to nationalize it with your money. The government owns a majority stake of GM. That makes it a "nationalized" company. They have unfair advantages that private companies don't. Mainly your tax money subsidizing an inferior product. |

Funny given the thread about your dad's new truck.
