I know the situation with DC (no reps...), but seeing one of these recently down here in GA made me laugh. Mainly because it's starting to apply to the rest of us as well....

Dude, its worse than you think.

This government is paid for by a small minority. With a growing number paying NOTHING.

We now have: Representation without taxation.

Which is even worse than the above.

Exactly. The citizens of DC could have voting representation in Congress by the next election, just like the people of Alexandria, VA do.

It's possible, but she'd have to fight for it.  In the interest of disclosure I heard my first comment above from a congressional staffer, it is not my original thought.
