So this is a rant of sorts...I  am unemployed and have been since June..my fucking neighbor has been through foreclosure a year ago and his Mother has been paying his rent and bills for almost a fucking year. Oh BTW his is 42 fucking years old.

Ok, his was addicted to Perks and other things and has a beautiful daughter from his 22 YO crack whore fucking shoplifting girl friend.
.
Has 3 DUI's n the last 2 years...

Great guy and good father..........................................................BUT

Every other night I get a call and it's always the same..."got time for a cocktail????"

Which means I am buying.........

So I have started to leave a bottle with 1 inch in it on the counter so he doesn't drink all my booze.....

He is a great guy , but I am tired of feeding him when he is on the tit and I am on unemployment just tiring to save my life...am I wrong here??????????

Just let him know that.

It's not necessarily more welfare. It's hard for a drunk to socialize w/o booze. Try asking him to bring a bottle next time.

If you mean "in the wrong" as in "venting your frustration on the internet instead of talking to your friend about it" then yes. Just let the guy know that you're unemployed and can't be funding his alcoholism. Maybe be a bit more tactful about it though.

3 DUIs in two years and druggie doesn't say great guy and good father to me.

Why are you supplying booze to someone stupid enough to drink and drive 3 times?

When he calls tell him " No, I'm going to an AA meeting".

He will avoid you like the plague.
