About 1930 last night I had to make a mad dash to the bathroom with a case of the screaming butt pukes. This was followed an hour or so later by projectile vomiting and endless waves of nausea.  I hurt something inside while I was bringing back up the meatballs my wife had made for the New Year.  Someone console me and tell me they're sick too because misery loves company.  |

We'll Maynard, your not alone. The horrible belches hit me about 11:45 last night. Then the smelly farts moved in and the Hershey squirts followed at about 12:30 AM. Then at about 9 o'clock this morning I had another case of the runs.
I feel a little better now. I don't know what caused this crap, but it's not fun. Hope you get over it soon.

I swear to god I found this thread with a thermometer in my mouth. I've been sick for three days now. There was a HUGE NYE party I would have loved to go to but no dice . It's fucking -2 here and I just had to make a run to the store to get medicine, I hated every second of it. Going to drown myself in cough syrup and nasal decongestants now. Hope we both get well quick.

Unfortunately, my stomach was empty while I had nausea, so there was nothing to come out, and I wasn't interested in any food with my stomach feeling that way. I got 3 hours of sleep last night because of that. Spent most of my time browsing afrcom, lol. Sounds like you have it a bit worse. Get better soon! |

I've had a really mild cold or sinus infection or something for about a week.
No fever, no cough, just a very mild sore throat, tired feeling, and a dry stuffed up nose. This morning I was sitting here drinking coffee and reading arfcom and my nose started to bleed like someone turned on a faucet. Took 15 minutes of pinching to get it to stop. wtf. I have no guns, so no dibs. |

Sunday noon had a huge family lunch. Sunday eveing had a huge family dinner at another familys. About 2 hours later oh boy. At one point I was sitting on the toilet AND holding a bucket between my legs. I've really never felt so violated.....
Oldest daughter had it with me too on Sunday. Othr 2 kids both got it Tuesday morning within 5 minutes of each other. I had it Sunday night and was back to work on Tuesday. Its short but man its nasty. |
| A buddy of mine got this last week. After a few days of those symptoms, he kinda passed out for a day or so. Got real pale. When he came out of it, he was really strange. Then he got all combative and started to grab his wife and bite her. We locked him in the basement until we could figure out what we could do. Now, he is in there pounding on the basement door, moaning "Braiiiins....braiiins....." Something must be going on because we called 9-11 for an amubalance and the line is jammed. And there seems to be a lot of National Guard vehicles going down the road nearby with police escorts..... |

It's pretty prevalent at work as well. I feel a lot better after a power nap. Fever is down and I was able to keep some food down. It hit hard but it looks like it is over in 24 hours. |

Yep. At 0230 I made a mad dash too. Got so bad I couldnt stand up without wanting to collapse, had chills and got so dehydrated I couldnt move without my muscles locking up. Couldnt drink any fluids without getting sick. Feeling a little better though. Still kind of feeling it....
