According to my grandpa it's the government controlling the weather, and no one else cares about them because they're is too busy watching baseball and jacking off. He has a house full of papers on all kinds of government involved conspiracies, written by people who quote each other's claims, which somehow makes it true. Mention how nice the clouds look today, and he'll go on a rant lasting hours, about Chem-trails and how the government has killed dozens of pilots to keep their weather control scheme a secret, (regardless of that, hundreds of conspiracy nuts, who no one would miss are writing about every detail of their devious plot) which will eventually evolve into a rant about masturbation and/or other sexually perverse acts.

I have an acquaintance who believes in chem trails. He is forever sending he links to Alex Jones articles. He also thinks Ron Paul is the last hope for mankind. Everyone needs to believe in something, I suppose. I believe in 230 grs at 900 fps and good quality underwire brassieres. And love.

That was a big thing back in the mid/late 90's.
I don't really believe in chemtrails. It's an interesting theory and whatnot but I think like any other "fad" conspiracy, people tend to believe that stuff because it gives them relief from an otherwise mundane existence. |

I say no way, but there is a slight possibility that can't be ruled out no matter how unlikely that something CAN be done with atmospheric seeding or mass airborne virus treatment. I'm sure that NOAA/NASA/etc have all investigated weather control beyond cloud seeding. But daily overflights by multiple spray-equipped airliners over the entire populated areas of the continent? Give me a break! The government does not need to spray "dumbing down" chemicals on some inbred corner of east bumfuck michigan when all the mouth breathers already are dumb enough to believe this shit.

On the left is an old contrail. The wind has dispersed the ice crystals, and conditions at that altitude have allowed it to remain. The one on the right is at a higher altitude where the air is dry so the contrail disperses quickly. |
