i have a year old i pod touch (32gb) and the wifie just bought a new ipod touch (8 gb) and i have a question. hers has external sound and mine does not. they both look identical and are fully updated. only thing that looks like a speaker is the small black panel on the rear which both have. is it a setting that i need to turn on? |
| Older models do not have an external speaker. I have the same 32 gig model and no speaker. To find out just goto the system settings icon that looks like gears and find the sound settings and turn the speaker on, then try to play a youtube clip. There will be no sound most likely since I am pretty sure you have an older model. |

Nope. Yours is early and doesn't have a physical speaker. Her's has one. Nothing you can do about it. well shit the bed. they dont have some sort of retro fit you can do? Refitting an Ipod ain't like dusting crops boy. That shit is packed in there tight. You could buy external speakers or something, but I doubt you'll find any comparable solution. If that's your goal then I say Ebay your old one and buy a new one. |
