Just got a Garmin GPS thats Bluetooth capable.
My Black Berry is Bluetooth ready. Car stereo is Bluetooth ready. Do I need/want Bluetooth? |
| I am kind of a tech geek, but have not really needed bluetooth, unless you got a friend with stuff to send from his garmin or whatever to yours, really not a need, and most stuff comes with a cable anyways. all it does is allows you to send stuff wirelessly from one item to another. |
There is no such thing as "a bluetooth" unless you're talking about bad dental work. ![]() Should you get a bluetooth headset? In your situation I wouldn't. Set up your garmin GPS device to link with your phone (it's easy to do) and as long as it's with you and turned on you can use it for a hands free device in your car. Actually you said your car stereo has bluetooth capability so you can probably link it to your phone. I got a headset years ago that I have never really used. I use the handsfree capability of my GPS navigation unit all the time though. |

i hate to be the one to break it to you, but you already have a "bluetooth"
you dont need to buy a headset. the car stereo or the gps device are the handsfree speaker/mic that you can use with your phone. so if the general consensus is that you dont need/want one, then are you going to turn in all your equipment?
