Just got a Garmin GPS thats Bluetooth capable.

My Black Berry is Bluetooth ready.

Car stereo is Bluetooth ready.

Do I need/want Bluetooth?

I am kind of a tech geek, but have not  really needed bluetooth, unless you got a friend with stuff to send from his garmin or whatever to yours, really not a need, and most stuff comes with  a cable anyways. all it does is allows you to send stuff wirelessly from one item to another.

There is no such thing as "a bluetooth" unless you're talking about bad dental work.

Should you get a bluetooth headset?  In your situation I wouldn't.  Set up your garmin GPS device to link with your phone (it's easy to do) and as long as it's with you and turned on you can use it for a hands free device in your car.  Actually you said your car stereo has bluetooth capability so you can probably link it to your phone.  I got a headset years ago that I have never really used.  I use the handsfree capability of my GPS navigation unit all the time though.

i hate to be the one to break it to you, but you already have a "bluetooth"

you dont need to buy a headset.  the car stereo or the gps device are the handsfree speaker/mic that you can use with your phone.

so if the general consensus is that you dont need/want one, then are you going to turn in all your equipment?
