...if the abomination they call "health care reform" passes, according to his self-assessment.

It seems not everyone is with him on that:

One thing we do  know, is that it will be an unprecedented, historic power grab.

We are living in the good 'ole days. Enjoy it while you can.

So in his world, failing at everything you attempt gets you an A?

He promised closing guantanamo - hasn't happened
He promised bringing home a brigade a month from Iraq - hasn't happened
He promised a climate deal - isn't going to happen
He promised a public option in health car - isn't going to happen
He promised cap and trade - isn't going to happen
He promised better relations with Iran - hasn't happened
He promised better relations with Russia and China - hasn't happened

Since "grades" are in the context of education, the question should be asked of teachers what grade they would give a student - who is full of big promises, and whom lots of people like - but who never delivers any work, and who fails at everything he tries.

I don't think it's an A.

Passage of health care reform would boost his grade to an A-, he said.

I'd give him an A+ on not getting the first five done.

I find it ironic (and offensive) that the man who won't release his own college transcripts gives himself a passing grade...

Transparency my ass!

...given that we have yet to see anything Obama published during his time as an "academic" I dare say that much of his time as a student was graded the same way. When trying to objectively analyze the man's life, I get the distinct impression that lots of people along the way wanted him to "succeed".

It's a curve alright.  The curve has 2 ends that meet.
