I noticed this link when I was searching for recall info.  Basically, the same idea I had.
If a massive effort were started immediately, would it at least get their attention (since the phone calls, the emails, etc. didn't work)?

18 states have recall provisions...  Of the 18, 7 require "grounds", the other 11 don't.  For the 7 states that require "grounds", it would seem that making unconstitutional law would suffice.

Thoughts, anyone?

I was wondering something along the same lines, but slightly different.

If this crap gets rammed through, what would happen if the Repubs resigned en masse?

I keep hearing from my Reps staffers that "we can't do anything!  The Dems changed the rules, and won't listen to us at all."

I said " Fine, come home then, and quit wasting my money on your salary."

If the Dems are going to get things passed by basically bribing Congressmen and Senators to get their vote, and they are the ones who are, in effect, printing money as the need arises, then the system is truly broken.  They have dropped the mask, and are completely shameless at this point.

And they don't care what you and I think about it, either.

They (both parties) are no longer representative of their constituents and all should be replaced.

And don't tell me that the Republicans did their level best.  Once the fix was in, they have been loudly protesting knowing that there is going to be no effect.   They are playing to the folks who elected them, nothing more.

I was wondering if states had a right to call their senator back to the state so that they could not be in DC to vote. Anyone?
