Last year around this time of year I was at the store. There was a woman with 2 kids in line in front of me. Her food bill was $60.00 and here debit card was declined. She looked like the world had just ended. I told quietly told the clerk I would pay. She was very thankful and I felt like a good guy. Today almost the same thing but she only had 1 kid her  she had tears in her eyes when her card was declined. Her bill was less than $40.00. I looked at her and thought Obama suporter I hope you fucking starve and that should have aborted whore baby starves too. And I don't care I hope they are happy with the change they got. I don't feel like a good guy but I don't feel like a bad guy ether.

be careful - only you know who you "are."

Changing your actions to suit your enemy (whether real or imagined) in a tit-for-tat scenario just increases the likelyhood that you will become the very thing(s) you hate about THEM.   Ultimately, I understand and empathize with your choice - I've made similar.  However, I feel like less of a person when I treat people differently based on their voting preferences.

With that said, I've sworn off charities because "there's a government program for that."  I know most of them are corrupt, inefficient and further enable the "disadvantaged" to remain "disadvantaged" via free money.  However, I did drop some change into the salvation army bucket today.

I guess that depends on what part of NV you are in.    You shouldn't let something like politics get in the way of being a good person.  I've been bitter and angry lately also but, I've found that giving to those in need makes me feel better.  Especially when they are appreciative.

She did not ask for help. I just know in the past I would have paid her bill and not cared what her political view was. Now I don't want to help I just want them to have it as bad as bad can be. I hope she is fucking cold and hungry. Maybe she will be to week to vote next November.

I can understand your feelings, though you couldnt have possibly known who she supported. But that is not your point.

What my question is...how do you overdraft on a debit card? Check your freakin balance! If you have $35, dont go buy $40 worth of shit! You dont even have to go through the pain of "ok well I dont need that, will you take that off my bill as I cant afford it" if youll just use simple math while your in the aisle. And if your really pressed, calculate it down to the tax.

Not that I hold anything against you for being angry, but I would have paid the 40 bucks, regardless of who she voted for.

I will surely catch shit for it here, but I would have a very hard time letting a woman with her child cry because they couldn't afford groceries.

I understand how easily somebody can obtain the "screw 'em all" attitude, but I try not to let it ruin who I am.

Merry Christmas.

Obama being elected didn't change my viewpoint on people.

He just reaffirmed that many people believe that they should be able to take from others in order to have what they "need."

I never did give to charity, because very few people actually "need" it, and those who do SHOULD be taken care of by the .gov (because they are so few in number, with cases so severe that no charity could ever hope to collect enough money for their obscure cause.

In all honesty, America was designed as a nation where people lived without a government "net."

It isn't about feeling like a "good person."  It is about subscribing and doing what it is "right" over what makes me feel good.  If people couldn't get charity, they would either find a way to survive, or die off.  We don't need non-producers in our gene pool creating more non-producers.  We don't need more welfare junkies.  We need to rid our nation of these leeches, and I don't mean by active means.  Simply take the teat away.  Cut off the support.

but....but....but...that's so cold hearted. What would you do if you were down on your luck and needed help? [/libtard off]

edit: I say fuck em. Every time a credit card/debit is declined in my machine, I pay for the inconvenience. No, I will not run your card again...just to see it declined and lose another 10 cents.  Everyone should pay more attention to their money. Then again, if people paid attention to their money, we wouldn't be in this predicament.

Just this past summer, a couple in front of me with 2 shopping carts overflowing with food ( over $250. ) attempted to pay with a debit card and it was declined, the woman turns to her husband and asks why there's no money, just then 3 kids come running up to the register with more stuff and at that moment I knew who they were. The Dad just loses his cool, hollers at the kids to drop the stuff, hollers at the wife " fuck this we're leaving ". The checkout girl has this look almost like   Anyways they're my neighbors behind me and they're assholes ( the kids ). I have no sympathy for them.

Most libtards actually have money (old money or trust fund money usually).

At any rate, after helping people, I usually say something like, "See, not all of us Republicans are assholes!"
