Pick it up? Or leave it?
I always still pick them up. I know, I know, "asspennies". Rats. I'm on jobrelatedstuff and can't post polls. |

When I was a little kid I heard that pennies were unlucky unless you found them heads up and for some reason that has ingrained itself into my mind over the last several decades. It's not worth bringing down the Lincoln equivalent of a mummy's curse just to pick up a penny is all I'm saying. |

This breaks the curse & gives the friend the good luck. |

When I was a kid I always was told to pick them up if the head was facing up....if it was tails, leave it alone.
Superstitious nonsense...but well...it stuck If I see a wheat penny though (which is obviously tails up or I wouldnt have spotted it from a distance) I pick it up....I collect them. |
