I have seen bullets advertised with " bullets have pull marks, but will not effect accuracy" when describing the product.

Does anyone have experience will bullets which possess "pull marks"?  Our of an AR-15, what sort of accuracy difference should be expected?

Are these FMJs?  Use without worry, accuracy starts at the base.  Pull marks only slightly lower BC which MAY increase vertical dispersion at longer range.

I have shot a ton of pulled bullets. I am not bench rest shooting I am practicing. I would not save them for critical ammo but for practice. If cheep i would pay accordingly.

Are you trying to make a 1000 yard shot on a single target?  If so, avoid the bullets with pull marks.  Otherwise, don't worry about it.

M855 bullets
.  Those pull marks will do nothing.  Now if you want accuracy, cull criteria for accuracy will be with the base, not the ogive.

It is made in the SCAMP machines at LCAAP.  At over 1200 per minute per machine.  Due to this level of precision, the little pull marks do nothing to spoil the accuracy at up to 400 yards.  Yes, they are good for what they are intended but they are not even close to Sierra Matchkings.

Benchrest shooter don't use them,
Highpower shooter (if they're any good) don't use them in a match.

Great for practice, wouldn't consider using them for load development.

YMMV
