Walgreens refills them.  I had the black done a couple times on my old HP and they worked great.  I tried the do it yourself kits before with mixed results.

HP about as good as it gets. Make sure you get the right model that they can be refilled at Walgreens. I found out my Epson can't do that...

have you ever wonder why they will give you a printer when you buy a computer? Or find a printer on 'sale' for really cheap price?  They dont try to make money on the printer because they will make a killing on the ink..

I will never buy another ink-jet printer.. the last few I have had the ink would dry up way before I used it up.. We had a fax/printer/copier that went thru a set (black and 3 colors) in 6 mth and we possibly made 3 or 4 black/white copies with it..

Laser printers not that expensive anymore.. YOu can even get a color one for $300ish i believe..

Not that this is any help but one thing I learned is to buy a printer that takes separate cartridges for each color at $9 each rather than one that takes one or two at $30+ each.
Mine takes 5 colors and a big black, when I run out of a color I can replace that color for less than $10 rather than tossing a 80% full multi color cartridge because one color is empty.

I get ink cartridges for my Canon delivered for less than $3 ea. buying 8 at a time. I just looked up printer cartridges on Ebay, found the cheapest ones for sale, then bought a printer that took them. My printer was less than $70 N.I.B.

And the NSA embedded code always makes the yellow run out quickly.
My fucking HP carts are like $40 a pop.

I need a good cheap source.

Monoprice is a wonderful source for cables, but last time I checked, they had received mostly crappy customer reviews on their laser cartridges - which is pretty typical for "remanufactured" carts.

The ones in the printer at work.
Right next to the power washers.
