Perhaps someone here can answer my question.

I read the membership benefits and when I didn't see the answer to my question there, I clicked on the link for "if you have any question click here".  Well apparently, the person who answered the e-mail didn't feel like answering my question and they only provided a link back to the page that I was on, that allowed me to e-mail them and ask them the question in the first place.  Obviously that wasn't the answer I needed and I am surprised they were so rude considering there is a paying membership on the line.

This is my question.  When you purchase a membership, does that increase the number of subscriptions you can keep?  I vaguely remember being able to keep a large number of subscriptions before the membership system was revised about a year, maybe two years ago.  Once it was revised, it says you can only keep 100 subscriptions, but the system only lets me keep like 25 or 30.  Also, when you are a team member, can you adjust your settings so you are automatically subscribed to a thread you have replied to?  Again, I remember only having to subscribe and I would start getting e-mails when other people replied.  Now I have to hit the subscribe button and then I have to click on the subscriptions tab in order to activate the e-mail notifications.  On other boards that I frequent, even the ones that don't have memberships, you can go in and adjust your settings in order to accomplish the same.

To be honest with you, I don't even need a large number of subscriptions.  But when they do get filled up, there is also no way to select them all at once and delete the subscriptions.  I have to delete them one by one.  Hopefully that is something that is addressed with a membership also.

I'm not talking about bookmarks on your computer.  I am talking about subscriptions within the ARFCOM website.

I already read that.  It is referring to "subscribers" to the website.

I am talking about subscribing to a thread you have participated in.

He beat the other member to posting a link to that.  And it has everything to do with the question.

If you like the site, join.  If not, don't.   A couple of pointers.  GD (General Discusion) is somewhat of a free for all.  Flame retardant suits are recommended.

If you want the technical side of things, you should have a blast

I don't know much about the technical stuff, but, Ed Sr.'s Christmas cookie recipe is worth the membership all by itself.

100 Subscriptions

(Though I don't think you're "unsubscribed" from thread outside of that 100, they just don't show up on the list until there is another post)

Yes auto subscribe. You can have it subscribe, subscribe with automatic email whenever someone posts, or not subscribe at all.
