This is a web site takedown instructions. I would assume not an ambi safety here are my pics of my 1911 with a ambi safety. How am I going to wiggle the safety out of the left side with the right side still attached 
What am I missing here. I broke the firing pin safety push rod so I have to break it down to replace |

I recognize that gun, I have one just like it. Kimber Tactical custom II, right? Yeah, there really is no secret to it, you just wiggle the piss out of it and it eventually just comes free. The the other side pivots back and then out of the hole.
ETA: its gets easier every time I take it down. guess it just gets looser. |

On my TRP the right-side ambi just pulls out with the grip removed. Yes, most ambi safeties have a tang which is held in by the grip. But not this one. Bet it is a press fit. The hammer pin sticks out the right side of the frame and is dovetailed into the right side of the safety. Wiggle the left side out and then rotate the right side upward. |
