Saw this on my way into work this morning, it was still there on my way home, so I slowed and snapped a quick picture with my phone. I'm just not sure how the driver would have pulled this off other than sliding up and across the 40ft of guard rail. Any ideas? http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg8/mongoose7000/1260396429.jpg It spun backwards. Was coming the other way. Just rode up on the end of the guardrail. |

I guess that make's a bit of sense, he would have definitely had to have been going pretty quick, there is a curve on either end of the that small section of road, I usually take it about 40 but I have seen some take it at 70+ when combined with the snow/ice/rain that would make sense I suppose. Just seems rather odd that the rear end was able to slide that far up and get stuck. |

Maybe he was taking a picture while driving? I knew I'd get shit for that
In my defense, I slowed to about 5mph, the road has almost no traffic on it, and I checked to ensure nobody was coming up on me in either direction. Hey, a good arfcommer always posts pics. |

all while taking a picture??? backing up to use the rail as a lift to change his oil. 1/2 way up, remembers he is backwards. by that time a trooper slows down. the rest is history. or a good story while he/she is waiting to post bail. |

It,s kinda of funny seeing many of these posters from warmer states wondering how cars get in crazy places
I know here in Connecticut we had a messy snowstorm that was slick as hell. I have got to believe the same storm made a mess of things in NY also. Of course putting a car up on the guardrail shows mistakes were made but all sorts of crazy stuff will happen during snowstorms |

The fact that the car was able to slide up the guard rail that evenly, backwards, just boggles my mind. I've spun out a couple times but was never moving fast enough to do that and can't imagine getting the car at exactly the right angle to start sliding up mid spin. |
