I think its awesome but i don't want to put my primary blade out of the fight for a while if its not worth it. Do they do a good job with the sharpening and servicing and is there a quick turnaround time?

Thanks gang

It's the best way to get a factory edge put back.

Remember! Two is one,one is none!

It's awsome! I have a Benchmade folder that is out of production. It had alot of miles on it, screws missing, broken micrata scales. The butterfly logos were worn smoothe and completley silver. I sent it in to Benchmade to get it refurbished thinking I will have to pay $. I got back a knife that looked like new. Really for all I know they sent me a new knife. Actually I think they did a great job of restoring the knife, They charged me $5, covered it under warranty.

Unless you're LEO, I wouldn't be sending an automatic knife in for servicing. You won't be getting it back.

I don't really remember except that I don't remember it taking that long.
I think you can remove the spring or dissamble your auto and legally ship it to Benchmade. Call them and ask.

$5 for shipping and the turn around time depends on the postal service.  Got mine in a week but I'm 110 miles from their headquarters. I wouldn't hesitate to send it in; this service is good to go.

I sharpen my own.  There are some things in life one should do themselves (and have the skill to do it well).

I've got about 6 Benchmades, so I shoot one out to them a couple of times per year.  Great edge and never a problem.

They even replaced my worn out pocket clip with a new one and cleaned up every part of the knife. That's some impressive customer service.

In that case, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment.

I had a well used, well worn, broken clip, broken locking mech, which i sent in for repair and to be sharpened, in two weeks, they sent my old used knife back in case it had sentinmental value, and sent me a brand new freaking free knife, just like my worn one.  I'm benchmade for life.
