Dude's in trouble now.
I heard that the BATF tech branch has decided that the hat rack was merely an accessory device and the kid's moobs were the actual illegal trigger mechanism, using their mass and kenetic energy to perpetuate the actuation of the Glock. Poor kid is gonna have some agents confiscate his titties |

Not permanently attached, so OK AFAIK. Smart? Not particularly That has absolutely nothing to do with it. A pistol is designed to be fired with one hand. The moment he put that stock on there –– permanently attached or not –– it became a rifle. And because the barrel of his new rifle is shorter than 16", he now has an unregistered SBR (unless it actually is registered). Unless he's rigged the action of the firearm to pull the trigger after each shot on its own, in which case it's a machine gun. Here are some generic definitions: Title 1 Rifle - Any firearm with a rifled bore, designed to be fired from the shoulder, with a barrel length of 16" or greater, and an over-all length (measured parallel to the bore) of 26" or greater (if with collapsible or folding stock, measured with stock fully extended). Title 1 Shotgun - Any firearm with a smooth bore, designed to be fired from the shoulder, with a barrel length of 18" or greater, and an over-all length (measured parallel to the bore) of 26" or greater (if with collapsible or folding stock, measured with stock fully extended). Title 1 Pistol - Any firearm with a rifled bore, designed to be fired with one hand. Title II Firearm Definitions: Machine Gun - Any firearm capable of discharging more than one cartridge per single function of the trigger mechanism. SBR - Any firearm with a rifled bore, designed to be fired from the shoulder, with a barrel length of less than 16", or an over-all length (measured parallel to the bore) of under 26" (if with collapsible or folding stock, measured with stock fully extended). SBS - Any firearm with a smooth bore, designed to be fired from the shoulder, with a barrel length of less than 18", or an over-all length (measured parallel to the bore) of under 26" (if with collapsible or folding stock, measured with stock fully extended). Destructive Device - Any explosive, incendiary or poison gas weapon, or any firearm with no sporting purpose and a bore greater than .50 caliber. Suppressor/Silencer - Any device designed to muffle, suppress, reduce, or eliminate the report of a firearm. AOW - Any other firearm configuration which does not fit into any of the above categories. _MaH |
