I think I read it back when I was selling cars in 2001 - that the one where a rogue Russian sub uses a nuke torpedo to blow a supercarrier out of the water? The whole world searches for the sub and I think the Brits find it and sink it.

Kind of a goofy book as I recall.

I read it many years ago. It was good enough to get me to read some of his other books (Seawolf, Barracuda). It isn't a block buster, but it was reasonably entertaining.
