Compact?

Cheapest contract, probably. Plus it's easily concealable and has a high mag capacity.

So when the other guy in the hallway on dust2 runs out of ammo, you still have 5 rounds.

Last I heard, they don't anymore. Something about they don't hold up to the abuse of being stomped on while inside the Suburbans.

Damn you'd think they would at least be able to afford some Larue mounts for the aimpoints.....

The guy in the pic would be hard pressed to deploy that weapon with any speed. What a cluster fuck.

At the rate veteran agents are leaving supposedly leaving the Secret Service, they're probably letting new hires pick their favorite video game gun as a hiring incentive.

That position (hands inside the body armor) is known as police rest.

I hung out backstage at an event where VP Cheney was appearing and chatted with the CAT team for a bit. Not only where they the only USSS guys I've ever seen with mustaches, but EVERY one of them had one. It must be a rite of passage. Good guys and very switched on.

He is set up for a lefty so why do you say it can't deploy it very fast? Other than resting his hand around the pistol grip there is really no way to speed things up.

I wanna know how that utility knife stays clipped to the vest.

Also, look at the mag pouches, switching has to be awkward.

mag pouches aside, the mag changes are clumsy for me

Wow. Some of you guys are ridiculous. So the SS PPD has no idea about good equipment? So do army SF and SEALs know firearms, or ar CAG and DEVGRU the only unit out side the ARFCOM army that is allowed to pick a weapon? I have a distinct feeling that that officer is using a P90 because it is the best tool for the job, not because he's a counterstrike guru. Most of the SS (esp the PPD) is made up of BTDT guys who train constantly.

Some of you guys are retarded. Instead of criticizing a SS tactical officer for him carrying a weapon, maybe you should be trying to understand why he has that weapon as opposed to any other weapon.

A .22LR handgun is also effective when shooting fish in a barrel, as seen at Virginia Tech.

Mass shootings are not the place to look for examples of cartridge effectiveness...
