Well wasn't a confrontation... Like many companies we have the American flag flying in our office park. I ran in to the manager of the building in the lobby a few minutes ago and I said hey Lady (not her real name ) That American flag you guys fly out there is kind of tattered and torn (not horribly but enough)

Can you guys replace it? And while you are at it, it is supposed to be lowered at night or properly illuminated. She asked what I meant I told her. She said she had no idea and also didn't realize it was unserviceable and I buy that.

She knows I am leaving for India/Pakistan on Saturday and she said Mister X (not my real name) I promise you, that by the time you get back here there will be a new flag, it will be properly illuminated and until then we will lower it at night. I told her about the flag code and she asked me to email it to her (and I did) so that she can read up on it. She apologized and threw in "My dad was US Navy, he'd be real mad at me if he knew I was doing it wrong." She is a real sweet and cute little blond, very nice young lady with a lot of responsibility.

Not even a second of hesitation or frustration from her and I walked away knowing she was really concerned and that she would fix it.

Lot's of time people get angry about stuff that with just a tiny bit of effort they could correct.

Wait, you saw a problem and took steps to correct it instead of just coming here and bitching about it?

Unpossible!

I was doing some HVAC work at a school in FL and they had the flag upside down......went in and informed the principle if they were in dire emegancy they could fly the flag that way....she didn't have a clue...it's good to inform people on the proper display of the flag..

Years ago we called the city of Portland and reported the American Flag flying on the USS Oregon monument was unserviceable.  It was replaced in a day.  Impressive for a city government!

Wait, you had a reasonable discussion in which everyone acted like adults and didn't get all pissy and threaten each other?

Are you sure you're not new here?

When I first started at my current job (big box retail) I was shocked to see a US flag hanging in our front window above the doors (inside the store). About a year later it was taken down and I didn't know what happened to it. A few months later I found it folded rectangular, in a manager's office, on a shelf, collecting dust. It was promptly liberated and tacked up on my office wall.

I am tempted to throw it back up in the window and see how long it takes before Corp directs it to be taken down... but the store manager is kind of a liberal when it comes to things like patriotism.

Sorry no picts, no way in hell am I asking a "work related woman" for a photograph that I can post it online. I am not sure but that sounds like a one way trip to court.  I am sure you studs all have beautiful women and don't need to see a picture of one you'll never meet. Obviously if there was a real need to see a picture of a smokin hot blond that you'll never meet that would be kinda sad.

I can barely walk and chew gum arts and crafts are well beyond my capability. In my mind's eye it looked real valiant and hard core like the flag raising at Iwo Jima except like if there were a hot blond standing off to the side. I didn't tell you guys about how before I spoke to her I had to fight my way through a bunch of japs that were held up in caves all around the property. Not real sure why the corporate office put well armed and pissed off Japs in caves all around the property but I am pretty sure I killed them all on my way to talk to her.

So if you could please picture the flag raising over Iwo jima and that is a lot like what happened. and I am the big strapping handsome Marine. The one that the smokin hot blonde is throwing her moist lightly scented panties at

Well aside from that fact I did say not really in the post. I guess you could consider it a confrontation because the blond was so worked up over the issue that she led me in to a empty office and we had 4 hours of wild freaky circus monkey sex. And then she called her redheaded and brunette smokin hot friends who brought 2 big bottles of Sangria for some reason, lubricant, Dancing french poodles and an Episode of Kung Fu that they played on the laptop in the background as all 4 of us had ANOTHER 6 hours of insane sexual misconduct during which acts of sexual congress so imaginative, wild and incredible occurred that even though it was the most amazing sex of my life I think I have PTSD from it.

Would that be considered a confrontation?

Jesus I am blushing now just thinking of it

Damn I knew I fucked up. I KNEW I should have bought a flag for a corporation out of my own pocket because THAT would have been the right thing to do instead of just having them fix the situation on their own since it is their property and responsibility

I love this site...
