The scree broke on my old one so I need a new camera. I want to keep it under $100. I'd like something that works well in dimmer light, the older one couldn't take clear pictures without a flash unless it was outside in bright sunlight. I also want something that doesn't take forever to think about shit when I press the shutter button. It would also be nice if it has a viewfinder in addition to the screen, but that's not a big deal. What does the hive recommend?

Under $100 will be a no-go.  You want to look for something that has the following features:

3X to 5X optical zoom (3X absolute minimum)
10+ MegaPixels (Much over 12 will be a waste)
Image stabilization (This will add cost, but will help in dimmer conditions)

Optional, but was important to me:

Uses AA batteries
Uses SD memory cards (because I my other camera used them)
Movie mode (Just in case for little clips)

While I do not have the exact model I found a Nikon for about $275 that fit the bill for a "pocket" camera.
For the good stuff I have a Nikon D90 and love it.
