I feel a little wierd posting this next to the SIIHPAPP Thread, but this is GD.
My little sister in law went in to have her heart scoped today. I don't know all of the terminology, but it isn't good. One of her valves is basically shot. The other valve needs repaired too. And her heart is really weak because of all the extra work it has been doing. The surgeon is bumping 2 people to get her in Thursday morning. She is 26 years old and has a husband and little boy. This obviously has the whole family shaken up pretty bad as it is kind of out of the blue. She just ran a half marathon this summer. Anyway, any prayers sent her way are appreciated. I do believe that God listens. Thanks. |

Ed She had a murmer since she was a kid, but no one really put much thought into it. She's always been pretty active. A couple of weeks ago, she started feeling really sick and drained. She would get exausted from taking the trash out. My wife kept harping on her to get to the doc, but they don't have insurance so she wouldn't go. Finally my wife told her if she didn't get in (last thursday) we would drag her there. She went to the Urgent Care and they immediately scheduled her for the cardiologist. Don'y worry. They won't mooch off the system. The hospital will work out a deal and as a family we'll all make sure it gets paid. |

I had a mitral valve replacement in '97 and thank God all went well. I was in a world of hurt at the time. The Doc said 40% of my blood was not getting circulated. She must really be hurting. To this day I have no idea what caused one of the leaflets (of the valve) to malfunction. Probably due to a nasty cold. Hopefully, the Docs can repair the damage. She is young and should recover quickly. Prayers inbound. |

Dear Lord
Our Father in haven we come to you this morning asking for forgiveness of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness dear Lord. That we may approach your throne of Grace and ask that you will be with this young lady and her family in this procedure that is being done, and that you will be with the doctors and give them the wisdom and guiding hand that your will be done. Lord if it is thy will I do pray that you will lay your healing hands upon her for the sake of her young son and husband. We thank you in the name of our Lord and Saviour, and our soon coming King Jesus Christ amen. |
