What Net Nanny monitoring software to put on my 11 y/o daughters laptop?

Shes been begging for a Laptop for two years and best buy has them in store only for $249 - ACER -exstensa

Its not a Netbook, but actual notebook 15" anyways, I want some software to put on it before it makes it to the Christmas tree.

If she's just going to use it at home, try setting your router up to use OpenDNS. It's not foolproof, but it does a pretty good job, and it's free.

If it's Vista, it has pretty good parental controls built in.

If not...*shrug* Netnanny has a free trial...give it a shot.
