| My watch has stopped. Looking for something under $100. Anybody happy with what they have in this price range? |

I had one similar to this that I really liked. Sadly, I dropped it and broke the face. http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=40-977&categoryid=64500&brand= |

In before the multitudes of cries of "G-SHOCK" Good tough watch for the money. I don't have one, but have been tempted. I just can't get over how ugly the G shock is. I always thought so too, but some of the new variations are much nicer looking. It's just a personal thing, but i can't stand a plastic watch. I sa a nice one on Chronoshark a while back, it's about due to make another appearance. I might pick it up since I busted the crystal on my daily work watch, a Bullova Caravelle chrono. I was asking for trouble, doing QC work for precast concrete with it on. |

Saw this over on 6mmBR.com . I'm going to pick one up.

| For $25 you can get a timex ironman 30-lap that stands a pretty good chance of lasting long enough for you to get sick of looking at it. They're what I wear when I don't want my better daily watches stolen or broken. If I didn't care about watches in general, they're what I'd wear all the time. |

For dirt cheap, and dead balls reliable... it's tough to beat a Timex. |

You can routinely get seiko autos under $100.
Or, go the digital route like many posters here, then get some short sleeve dress shirts and a bobble head of yourself on your desk
