So we just got an automated call from the grocery chain. Seems some of the hamburger may be contaminated with E coli. The Mrs MAY BE currently making meatloaf with it. If it cooked thoroughly is it safe to eat?

Be very careful handling the meat while it's raw.  Cook to 160 degrees (F) and you should be fine.**

** If you're not fine, it's totally not my fault.

I just got the same call.  What really pisses me off is that this is from meat purchased almost a full month ago.  WTF?
