Browns at Bills:
Well, Miami destroyed the Bills last week, and I've yet to figure out if the Browns played that good, or the Bengals played that bad. Now you've got Edwards gone, hell I don't know. I guess I'll pick the Bills, TO, Evans, and Lynch get it done. Patriots at Broncos: Damn, who would have thought the Broncos go 4-0 to start out the season. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I say the Broncos beat the Pats to start 5-0. Pats coming off a very physical game against the Ravens, and mile high is going to be packed with screaming fans drinking the kool aid. Not to mention Fred Taylor is out, and Bailey will be on Moss. Tough match up. Steelers at Lions: Steelers pull this one out. Megatron is banged up, K. Smith may still be feeling the shoulder some, and even without Troy P.(though he may play), their defense holds. Not to mention I think Mendenhall has 150+ yards again with 2 scores. Colts at Titans: The Titans defense has got to be one of the biggest disappointments this year. On top of that Chris Johnson does not look like the same back he was last year. On the other hand, the Colts running game is actually making ground this year, and Manning is lighting it up. Colts for the win. Cowboys at Chiefs: Talk about another disappointing team. Romo and the Cowboys look like shit this yeara. Wonder how many people get traded/fired once Jerry Jones blows his top after they don't make the playoffs. That said, it's the Chiefs. I'm picking the Cowboys, but if they fall to KC, some heads are going to roll. Vikings at Rams: Well, I'm drinking it by the gallon. The Favre brand kool aid is tasty. Berrian is on the same page as Favre, Harvin is dangerous, plus you've got AP to deal with. No team can play the Vikings without stacking the box, man on man Favre won't turn the ball over like he did before. On top of that, the Vikings defensive line is TOUGH. Vikings have it in the bag by halftime. Raiders at Giants: So how long before JaDummy is replaced? Probably never since they gave him so much money. The Raiders receivers are worthless because of JaDummy, so is McFadden and the rest of the RB's. Until the Raiders get a new QB, they will NEVER have a chance. The Giants new found air attack is killing me with having Jacobs on my FF teams. Giants by 14+. Bucs at Eagles: Uhhh, Eagles. How you have less then 100 yards of offense for a game? How? Texans at Cardinals: With Johnson, Slaton, and Daniels, IF the Texans get on a roll they can put up some points. However, I don't have much faith in their defense. Even with Warners 87 year old hip, Fitz, Boldin, Breaston, Hightower, and Wells will be to much. Cardinals by 10. Falcons at 49'ers: Gore being out is going to hurt the 49'ers, bad. I'm afraid the Falcons have to many weapons, even if the 49'ers manage to stop Turner. I like the 9'ers this year, and I believe in the next few years they make it deep into the playoffs, just not this year. Falcons pull this one out. Jaguars at Seahawks: This one, I don't know. Which Jags team shows up? But damn, the Seahawks defense got shredded last week by the Colts. I'm picking the Jags. Redskins at Panthers: Bah, tail of two horrible offenses. I'll go with the Panthers simply because I saw a ton of emotion from them against the Cowboys. What I saw from the Redskins was a team that is on the verge of giving up. Bengals at Ravens: Again, which Bengals team shows up? The team who hung in and beat the defending champs, or the team who needed an almost out of time field goal in overtime to beat the lowly Browns? Even though the Ravens have to be sore, I'll give them the win. Not by much, but still the win. Jets at Dolphins: Well, it's going to come down to this, who is the better QB, Sanchez or Henne? Both teams are tough against the run, and I give the edge to the Jets secondary. Jets by 10. |
