This shit is good, over 100 IBU's.   That is all.

It is indeed, quite good.  Nice and hoppy, but balanced pretty nicely by the malty character of the beer.  Delicious, but expensive.

Not all men can take the Ruination challenge.

It's sad how many 'men' cannot even smell a good IPA without gagging.

what sucks is.. once you go high end IPA and Double IPA its really hard to drink things on the malty side.. I almost cant stand most trippels and stuff.

Stone IPA and Ruination have an "off" aftertaste.

I can't stand anything with malt on the aftertaste.

Longhammer IPA and ACME IPA are my go to beers.

I live about 5 miles away from the Stone Brewery!

I ONLY drink IPA (I mean, as far as beer.  Of course I drink water too).  I like Stone, but my main favorites right now are Hop Devil, Speakeasy IPA, and, if I feel like spending a little more money for some even better beer, Hop Wallop.

This very second I'm enjoying a mug of Hop Devil.

I have 3 6packs of it left... Its a once in a while sorta beer for me.  I imagine when its colder I'll go through them a little quicker.

I do like DFH's 90 minute, but its a little stronger on the senses than the Ruination, IBUs be damned.

It's really hard to go wrong with anything from Stone.

Ruination IPA is one of my brother's favorites.  I like it, but like more big malty beers, belgian tripels, etc.   For me, I like Dogfish Head's 90 minute a little better, but it's close.

I actually just bought some Stone called "Vertical Epic" that I'm looking to enjoying.  http://www.stonebrew.com/epic/

Stone makes some good stuff. I had one once, I forget the name that tasted just like sucking on a pine cone. Different, but quite good.

Check out Hop Wallop! yum
