| I'm looking into making a pair of chinks and I'm looking for any online sources for patterns, tools, leather, whatever I need. Surely there has to be one guy here that does this. |

Disclaimer: I only buy leather to fix horse tack and make some small stuff and I'm not very good at it. That being said, is there a Tandy store near you? They offer classes, and all kinds a stuff needed to do what your looking at.
Bucky145 I have this kit: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/department/Starter-Sets/55510-00.aspx?feature=Product_2 |

Be warned it can be time consuming, but rewarding. Tandy is indeed a great source for everything you need. |

| a little far away from you but my father and I have always gone to Oregon leather. They have always had anything and everything we have needed. they carry everything like leather, tools, patterns, and accessories. very friendly, great customer service, and a very wide selection. |
| I do some tooling on leather. Tandys offers classes on saturdays around here. BTW I'm always on the hunt for tools...used. I make Belts, holsters and cowboy rigs. Its fun, but it takes a lot of time. It's like tattooing on leather. Try Leather Crafters Journal too. |
