I know we have a kazillion threads on Kanye West, the P.O.S. he is, but I just watched a video clip on my homepage about Beyonce winning her award, and she called Swift back out to do her speech on her time.
I don't listen to much besides rock, country and bluegrass, but that is the classiest thing I think I've seen in recent history from the Hollywood/entertainment types, and she's earned my respect. I just wanted to say how good it is to see someone in that world think of something other than some self serving bullshit. Beyonce,

| I thought this was awesome! I didn't watch VMA's, but saw the clips. I'm sure other POS's could have given Taylor a moment, but Beyonce stood up and did the right thing. She didn't have to do this. It is good to see someone (Beyonce) make sure a young singer gets her due. I'm not a fan of Beyonce's or Taylor's music, but I have always liked Beyonce. She is easy on the eyes and she's from TEXAS (houston) now I like her even more. |

I've seen her in concert. She asked if there were any soldiers in the audience and she had them bring up the house lights and asked everyone to clap for them. She told us it was something she would do from now on after honoring five soldiers in her concert in 2007. She said the best feeling in the world was when she asked if there were other active or veteran soldiers in the audience and a ton of hands went up. She said she knew she had bodyguards who were there to protect her, but there were hundreds of "bodyguards" protecting America and for that ... she was grateful. Also, during the concert I saw, she asked the little girls in the audience how many of them were picked on for being "fat" or "ugly". So many little girls made noise. So she made it a point to tell those kids that they were beautiful and that she has been called "fat" and "ugly" too, but it didn't matter. She told them to find their talent, stick their noses in books, and work hard to make something of themselves. "Fat" and "ugly" Beyonce ... I think she's curvy and beautiful.   |

I was shocked when I saw the shows, but Timberlake on SNL is right there beside Peyton Manning for my Hysterical SNL's in the last 10 years.
