Will a low battery give lower readings?

only thing I can figure, all loads including factory ammo reading about 200 fps slow.

I really don't think it will... but put in a fresh battery and retest.

I would assume placement of the chronograph from the end of the muzzle would have a more dramatic effect than low battery.
