I have a large room to paint with 25' ceilings then several other rooms that will need to be painted as well as ceilings. Would like to spend as little time crawling up and down a ladder as I can and have been pondering getting one. Any good ones out there?

Bought a black and decker one I tink. I only used it once and it was the best paint job I ever did and painted the entire inside in 2 days.

Most of the time was trim.

It is the one that connects directly to the can and has a long hose.

Pain to clean up sort of but when I was done I hooked it up to the garden hose and ran water threw it.

I have two of the Wagner power rollers.  One that hooks right to the can the other has a shoulder strap and a reservoir for the paint.  The will save you quite a bit of time, but buying the special rollers for them is slightly more expensive than regular rollers.

Doing a good job cutting in around the edges is still going to be a pain.  My Wagner does a good job on the flats.  You do need to get the hang of not pumping too much paint too fast.
