I keep getting a prompting for an instant message on here, yet when I go to the page I don't have any new IMs. Que paso?

I had the exact opposite happen to me. The box showed no new messages but I was waiting to hear back from someone and decided to check it anyway and there was a new message in my inbox.

Not sure how it works here but, On another site I had the same thing happen when my in box was full. I had to delete some to see the new messages.
