Unplug, remove keys, leave upside down over sink for a day or so.

^this^, but dump isopropyl alcohol on it after unplugging, but before key removal and drying.

Distilled water wash, blow out with compressed air and let dry. It happened to my keyboard on my laptop

and I removed it, performing this procedure with perfect success.
