Hey guys, I own a frontier safe and a winchester safe.  I kept the paperwork for the frontier safe in the win. safe.  Somehow that paperwork has disappeared.  I remember 2 of the combo numbers, but I can't remember the 3rd exactly (I am in the right series though 40-49) but I also can't remember how many times I have to turn the lock to get started it was either 3 or 4 times to the left.  Does anyone know if it is the same with all S&G locks?  I believe it was four to the left , then three to the right, back two times to the last number than open.

Any help would be appreciated.  My rem. 700 LTR and FN SPR are being held hostage until I get this safe open... kicking myself in the ass for not changing the combo to the same as the other safe...

My S&G is 4 - Left, 3- Right, 2- Left, then go right until you hit 0 and the bolt will retract.

Nearly every safe is 4-L 3-R 2L then right to a number or stop or it may open.

Frontier Is out of businesses now. turn to the left stop on the first number after 4 rotations, turn to the right stopping on the 2nd number on the 3 rd rotation, turn to the left stopping on the 3rd number on the 2nd rotation, turn to the right until you here a click.

I got it open.  The combo paperwork was inside... how it got there is beyond me...  I had to keep trying different combos until I hit the right one.  I knew the numbers were in the right series, just not the exact numbers.  I actually called and setup a time today to have the safe drilled so it could be opened.  I keep my really expensive stuff in there and was shitting bricks.  The lock company is still going to come out and change the combo like I should have done years ago.  What a PITA
