I'm kinda liking this guy, but don't know too much. Just seems real genuine and even tempered. Gretta sure has the warmies.

Looks like he's a person to watch as we get closer to 2012.

Anybody know more?

People in PA voted him out of office and sent a Dem in his place.   Lied about his kids getting home schooled in PA while legally living in D.C.  Managed "K" Street for Republicans,(K St. was the area lobbiests met to donate to his causes).  Arrogant ass to many in PA.

IIRC, there was also a disparity between what he was stumping for on tort reform and what his wife had collected in a tort suit.

Unlike Obama and Biden and Kerry and Edwards, he is imperfect and thus not welcome on the GOP ticket no matter how conservative he is.

Voted NO on banning lawsuits against gun manufacturers for gun violence. (Mar 2004)
Voted NO on background checks at gun shows. (May 1999)
Voted YES on more penalties for gun & drug violations. (May 1999)
Voted YES on loosening license & background checks at gun shows. (May 1999)

Sounds like a winner to me!

Wasn't he one of the pack at the start of the last cycle?  He dropped out fairly quickly and doesn't stand a chance in the moderate/liberal Republican party of today.

If he goes for anything more than PA Governor then he is over reaching.

We do not need another lawyer in DC, PERIOD.

The problem with the current system is we THINK we need lawyers to write the laws, this is an abomination.  It has turned DC into a brothel of self-serving oligarchs, placed there by a de facto plutocracy.

This is one of the reasons for Bush/Palin derangement syndrome.  They are not lawyers.
