You guys have not been to the clubs lately.
In this area, the girls are getting pretty desperate as the economy has tanked. Some of the girls are full mileage and you get whatever you want in private. I mean ANYTHING. And not the skanky girls. But pretty good looking ones at that. So its not a waste of time. Its all about what you want and like. Its not for all guys. But for some its a nice time. |

I would say that in a cross section you will probably not find a huge disproportion between the ones with screwed up lives and girls who don't gravitate towards the line of work. Perhaps the ones that stay longer do... I haven't really researched it in that depth, but I do know some pretty, normal, well adjusted girls who have done it for awhile because they can make a shit ton of money in a short time, legally, with little to no financial risk. The clubs have bouncers and security and are really careful with the girls they have, and protect them against idiots. I would say a good looking girl out in a club/bar is more at risk than some girl in a strip club, and all the former gets is drinks. The only other ways to make money like that are much riskier and potentially more destructive, drugs, gambling, etc. |

Strip clubs used to be fun as a young man.
So much so that when I had the rare, once in a lifetime opportunity, to gain entrance to an exotic petting zoo, I jumped at the chance. I was sorely disappointed...thats when I learned the differance between exotic and erotic. All those words, individually, sound fun. Together...not so much. I think it was the smell, mostly.

Up until I turned about 32 I spent a LOT of money in titty bars. The girls varied widely from the honest-to-god "I'm doing this to pay for college" (yes, they really exist) to "I'm doing this to support my crack/meth/heroin habit."
My problem with strippers is that they're generally exposed to the worst of humanity, and it makes them hard and mercenary or it destroys them. I finally stopped going when I decided I didn't want to be one of those old men sitting in the corners at age 50 handing out $5 for a table dance from someone who would just as soon shove a 6" spike heel through my throat as talk to me. Seen through that lens, titty bars are damned depressing places. |
