I've been on several other forums, and there's usually a newbs section to post this sort of thing. Didn't see one so I'll post it here. Mods, please move this to the correct forum if this is not it.

Any way, my name is Aaron, I'm 36, and I'm from Jacksonville Florida. I'm a former U.S. Marine, I served with 3rd Battalion 8th Marines as a 2531 (field radio operator) from '92 - '96. I now work as a Bail Bond Agent here in Jacksonville. I've been married for eight years, and have three daughters, ages 5, 3, and 1 month. Although I don't have a HUGE collection of weapons, I do own three AR-15s and several other firearms.
I've actually been lurking here on the forums for the last couple of years (which has been very helpful in my last two builds), and I finally decided to go ahead and join up. I plan on getting the paid membership here shortly, so I can have all the bells and whistles, a.k.a. avatar pic, search function, etc...... LOL!!!

Hello and allow myself to introduce...myself.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential. Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly
self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy
and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French
prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he
would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question
mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of
general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My
childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring
we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag
and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received
my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma
ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn
scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.

Yep. I figured I'd get one for my kids while I still can, which means I still need to do at least one more build.

I't's the difference between "Former" (no longer in active service) and "Ex-" (got your ass kicked out). Otherwise, yeah you're right, "Once a Marine, always a Marine", "Semper Fi' 'til I die".

I had the satcom...we got an Italian the float before..I flaoted 2-91,2-92, 2-93 and 2-94 before lat moving to the 130's...got sick of the boats 2 years cutting squares and driking in Rota was enough. So then I flew to Rota to drink
