Can't seem to get it here in Virginia. I ask people if they've ever had mutton, and I get the

I grew up for a time in Owensboro, KY. and mutton is bigger there than beef, chicken, or pork. It's definitely an interesting taste.

Try a Mexican grocery store. I get goat from my local place, they might have mutton.

Find a local sheep farm. buy a whole lamb its much cheaper. I buy one every year or so.
