Okay... yeah... I know... not the most "macho" sentiment to express but... well, it's true.

Seems like everyone in the ghetto knows, if you have an animal you don't want... bring it to the firehouse. Some good-hearted dope there will take it.

So... here's the latest addition to the menagerie...

Some guy found her in a sewer, and was nice enough to fish her out.  Although I've had a bunch of cats, I've never owned a "kitten". What a spaz. Very entertaining to watch.

(If you ever meet a fireman who acts like a big, macho, tough-guy... don't believe it for a second. Biggest suckers in the world.)

My daugther and I would love to have a kitten. She keeps saying she wants to "Sale the dog and get a kitten." LOL!

You have nice hands.

For a fireman.

So, I take it this is now your kitty?  Good on you for giving her a home.

Now, now... those are the GF's hands.

And yes... there are times when I just can't say "No"... and this was one of them.

Cats can carry some nasty parasites, especially ones that are allowed to roam wild & eat mice.  Some of these parasites have actually been linked to schizophrenia.  Especially bad for pregnant women; can cause birth defects...

Taxoplasma.  Nasty stuff.  Read about it here

This kitten, Kimchee, turned into the most evil little monster imaginable. You couldn't even pet her unless she was asleep. We figured out that she got a lot nicer when there were other kittens for her to beat up, and now she's a great cat.

Kimchee learning how to fly. The orange ones were two orphans we found homes for, called them Annie and Oliver.

Kimchee vs the orphan.

About to get ass-kicking #4007.

More orphans we found homes for:

Going full-retard on Rufus, our next adoptee.

My buddy and his girlfriend have two cats, that just had 3 kittens each within a few days of each other.  It looked like wrestlemania in their living room when I was over there the other day.

Kittens are loads of fun even though exhausting.  My favorite stage is when they discover how to arch their backs and hiss, because they will do it at everything and everyone.

The pic in my avatar are three out of the four cats I own.  All three pictured were raised from kittens.  The light and dark gray ones are about 5 months old, and the black kitty is about a year old.

Good on ya rescuing the kitty, OP.  It looks like she has a good home
