We have quite a few local indie movies shot in the area. This one looks as bad as most, but I'll see watch it. Zombie Movie Trailer |

Quoted:
you should volunteer to be a zombie. I actually had a part in a local Indie movie several years ago called "The game of games". I played a gambler who got to chop a guys fingers off after he lost a bet to me. The gigs don't pay anything, but it's interesting to learn about the movie making process and see yourself on the big screen. It took us 5 hours to shoot about 5 minutes worth of film time. It was an education... and I got to hack off a few fingers. |

It’s not really that hard to get into one. As you can see from the trailer, you don’t have to be a great actor. Find some local film interest groups in your area and keep yourself in the loop. University film classes and clubs are also a good place to make contacts. A lot of times if you just volunteer to help carry the equipment (lighting, cameras, props, etc.), they will put you in the movie doing something. |
