Hey guys.  I have a nickel plated Beretta m1934.  I have never cleaned this weapon.  I have heard from some sources NOT to use hopps on nickel.  Is this correct?  Others say it is ok as long as you wipe it all off immediately when you are finished, while others say DON'T use it at all.

Anyone know out there for sure.  Please only give info if you are sure.  This weapon is from WW2 and I would hate to do something that damaged it.  Thanks!

I have used Hoppe's #9 on the nickel frame of my 1911A1 with no problems. I wipe it dry & then spray on some CLP when I'm finished.
