Hmmm.... I just may do something with this.
My router allows a second wireless signal. One for internal use, and one for external use (outside of the firewall.) This allows a person to setup a private wireless signal for the home/work and a public signal for un-trusted guests/neighbors. |

And I'm torn.. my WAP SSID right now is VAULT-TEC, which I'm kind of attached to. Plus, my folks use my wifi when they come into town.. explaining the SSID change would be an interesting conversation. |

Does it have a switch built in?<...> It is a Dlink DIR-655 and it has a built-in 5 port Gigabit switch. It does a lot of slick shit. Mine is now setup as Fuck_Obama. If you have a wireless access point at home, you rename it from "Linksys" or "TrumpetWireless" to "Fuck_Obama" and everyone in wireless range gets to see how you feel.
I have 15 wireless routers in my neighborhood, so that means a lot of people might get to see my little diatribe. |
