| I'm so ADHD that I can't play any new game for more than 30 minutes at a time and usually lose interest after a week. I used to have a friend who loved video games and I'd go over to his house sit and talk to him for hours on end while he played. Even when I'm at others houses and they ask if I want to try their game out, I usually pass |

They're fun....me and my kids play together, it's actually pretty good family time.
On another note, there was a point in my life that I wanted to be a pilot. I was just starting college and I asked an F-18 pilot if he had any advice for me.....know what he said? He told me to relax, have fun in school and....."play video games" Seriously, he said flying was sort of like a video game and playing games would help with hand eye coordination. True or not? I don't know, I'm not a fighter pilot but I though it was interesting and the guy was a USMC Major with flight wings so I guess he knows what he's talking about. Anyways, the poll sucks, I play more than "sometimes" but it's not my life either. I play maybe 3 times a week or so. |

i go through phases where ill play a lot and then wont touch the xbox at all for months.
currently, i am back on a COD4 kick. but the fags with modded controllers are so gay. seriously, buying a controller so that you can cheat at a game that only rewards you with stats is the loserest shit you can do. i file complaints every time i get killed by full auto pistols or shiper rifles and any glitchers i see. people that need to cheat at video games will never win at life and probably live in mommys basement forever. weak rant off (sorry guys its true)

You haven't tried out Fallout 3, have you? It's very...compelling. Very developed world, lots of stuff to discover, all in an alternate future after a nuke exchange with China.
Any ARFCOMmer that doesn't like it has a computer too slow to play it, no hand-eye coordination, or drives a Prius. |

So voice acting in video games aren't real, but in an animated or music it is? Real people doing body movements for motion capturing isn't real? A movie is no more "real" than a video game. Same with music. If you can't comprehend that, then there is something wrong with you.
