I went full retard. I was messing with my mauser bolt and I de-cocked it, so I was trying to cock it again and in the process the decocking sleeve tuned the rong way and is now off the bolt. Please help ARFCOM! |

Ya did those instructions but when I was pulling the cocking sleeve back it turned the wrong way and came off. |

I'm guessing you'll have to screw it back onto the firing pin, not hard to do. http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting/mauserboltdisassembly/index.asp Bolts on surplus rifles are meant to be taken apart. Don't be afraid to break them down once in awhile and clean them out. They are pretty simple devices once you examine them. |

Yes but the firing pin is in the bolt under the pressure of the spring so I cant get it back on. I dont know what to do. |

Quoted: Which part is off of the bolt (using the names from the picture in the link)? If it is the cocking sleeve you'll have to disassemble the bolt to screw it back on. The bolt sleeve has a detent in the front that needs to be depressed to unscrew it from the bolt body. Then the pin and spring can be removed. Get a block of wood, push down on the bolt sleeve/safety to compress the spring and put the cocking sleeve back on.Quoted: I'm guessing you'll have to screw it back onto the firing pin, not hard to do. http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting/mauserboltdisassembly/index.asp Bolts on surplus rifles are meant to be taken apart. I fixed it, I had to release the tension on the firing pin to get the bolt sleeve to disassemble. |
