In case you don't know, part of the stimulus bill, Veterans will receive $250 in a one time payment
during the month of June. I dont have any more information on hand but will update the thread in a few minutes. |

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=879389 I scanned and uploaded my letter from the VA. IIRC the money will come the same way you got your taxes. |
No check, just a nice letter stating they are still working on my new claim. I will put it with the letter that stated they would be sending me a payment of $250.00. That will be filed with the letter that stated they still are working on my audit for backpay due to CRDP that they have been working on since 2007.
I see a trend developing. |
| I sustained an injury to my shoulder/back and went to the ER when I was in. I also got a skin condition whilst in teh Service. I seperated less than a year ago, honorably, and am wonder if I am entitled to use the VA for treatment. My back and shoulder have bothered me ever since. What part of the VA do I need to talk to? I tried last week and the damned automated doohickey hung up on me due to high call volumes. |

That's what they will look at when making a determination. Usually during SEPS they have you do your VA stuff. Good luck! |

How much do they charge? Zero. (...and I believe that you have one year from seperation to initiate your claim) http://www.dav.org/ |
