So I lost my Surefire E1B this week. I really liked the thing. The problem is, now they are ridiculously overpriced from when I bought mine.

I am looking for something for every day carry that will run on 1 Cr123, small, and preferably adjustable brightness. I am interested in the Fenix lights, but am overwhelmed by their selection.

Oh, and here is a rock I found today while hiking. Can anyone guess what I think it looks like?

NiteCore Extreme

I plan on ordering one in a day or so.  I am torn between their extreme and their tactical that uses AA batteries.

Those look really cool. Have you played with one yet?

IMO the best EDC made, I have several.  Expensive, but they are TOP notch.

AH, for some reason I can't make the link hot.

Anyway, google the Ra clicky  or the Ra tactical.

I have a nitecore also, but the 2AA version. I love it. The adjustable brightness feature is great.

I carry a Fenix PD20 everyday.  I love it, and would buy another if I ever had to.  I am pretty sure the light output exceeds my Streamlight Stinger LED.  The PD20 is small, I can't even feel it in my pocket, I like to keep it on the lowest setting on startup and just click for brighter output.  I like the fact that you turn the bezel for "turbo" mode, and can keep it on that setting from a cold start.
